Market Fundamentals
During the first third of the 20th century, Richard D. Wyckoff (1873 – 1934) was an extremely successful trader in stocks, bonds and commodities. He turned his attention to understanding how the financial markets behaved and the forces that made them move. Richard D. Wyckoff was the very first stock trader to include volume studies in stock market analysis. Wyckoff understood that the basic law of Supply and Demand governed all price changes and they were the best indicator of the future direction of a particular instrument (Stock, Forex, Future, ETF, Crypto, etc,). The concept of rising prices when demand exceeds supply and the lowering of prices when supply exceeds demand is universal. It is found not only in the financial markets but in commodities, real estate, all other asset classes and everything else that contains a monetary value. The more Wyckoff studied Supply and Demand, the more he realized that the actions and purposes of those who dominated the markets, or took large interests in certain stocks, exposed their plans. He is considered one of the five “titans” of technical analysis, along with Dow, Gann, Elliott, and Merrill. These technics and methods formulated for measuring and identifying the buying and selling convictions of market participants, proved to be as reliable today as they were a century ago. The law of Supply and Demand will never change!
We have developed fundamental trading tools based on fundamentals driving financial markets. As markets are moved by supply and demand, we have focused mainly on volume based indicators which pin point the imbalances in Supply and Demand in the market. Supply and Demand are mostly created by big market participants, the Smart Money. The Smart Money include Commercial traders, Professional traders and funds which trade a big number of contracts. Therefore we believe that Volume, Supply and Demand is one of the most important indications to pin point fundamental factors moving the market. It is interesting to see how every major market move is preceded by an imbalance of Supply and Demand. We are astonished to see so many traders or investors ignoring this important data in making trading and investment decisions. Volume (Supply and Demand) is the footprint of the Smart Money and if you know what the Smart Money is doing, you will make much better and more accurate trading and investment decisions. Volume (Supply and Demand) is also one of the few true "predicting" indicators available if interpreted correctly, unlike the many price indicators which are "lagging", because it uses mathematical formulas on mostly historic data in their calculations. Price indicators can be useful, like timing entries and exits, but most of the time traders and investors put too much emphasis on price indicators. Inspired by the work of Richard D. Wyckoff, we devoted a lot of our time and effort in developing Volume, Supply and Demand based indicators and tools.
Trading experience and use of indicators and tools
We have been involved in the financial markets for Investing in Stocks for 19 years and is active trading the Forex, Stock Market (and Option trading), Futures and ETF's for 10 years now. We have developed Trading Indicators and tools as traders for traders focusing on fundamentals that drives the markets. From trading experience and literally testing tens to hundreds of indicators and tools, we focused only on those that use fundamental market principles and assessing conditions to abtain an edge in day trading, swing trading and investing on longer term.
Holy Grail
In our search for the Holy Grail we discovered that the only Holy Grail in trading is proper and sound money management, running you’re trading as a business and not by relying on one or two price indicators alone. That being said, if there is any Holy Grail in trading and investing, it can be only Supply and Demand with sound money management. SUPPLY and DEMAND is the only measureable fundamental market mover. It does not matter if price is influenced by a geopolitical event, seasonality, fundamental economic data releases or sentiment driven news, etc. It all reflects in Supply and Demand, the “footprints” of the “Big Boys” or “Smart Money”.
More Precise and Accurate
Supply and Demand studies, in our view, are great tools in assisting a trader to make more correct trading decisions with more accuracy, time your entries and exits better and understanding the markets better from a fundamental perspective. Our focus thus is not on the hundreds of price action indicators available, but on indicators that focus more on fundamental factors in trading. This allows us to make informed decisions unclouded by emotions, to trade with more confidence and accuracy over the long run.
We decided to share this indicators with the many traders struggling to survive and make ends meet, often trading against the many and often more experienced Commercial, Professional, Big fund traders and High Frequency Electronic Trading. Trading after all is a zero sum event. Each trade transaction has a buyer and seller (and consequently a winner and loser). We have learned the hard way and made every mistake in the book and as a result have paid quite a bit of tuition to the "University of Wall Street". We hope we can substantially reduce yours!
Indicators and Tools for all markets
Our indicators work in all markets and time frames (for volume based indicators, volume data must be available).
Holy Grail seekers, this is not for you! In our view Trading Indicators is a tool to assist traders and NOT some absolute Holy Grail Trading "machine" where money can be withdrawn without limitation like from an auto bank teller, just by following one or more price indicators. Trading has been described as both art and science, and we are convinced that the only way to be successful over the long run, is to use methods that focus on fundamental factors and conditions, those that drive the markets and interpret these factors and conditions correctly.
